RPA serves local, regional, national, and international firms.

RPA, founded in 1989 by Richard P. Aulenbach, P.E., is headquartered in Wyomissing and has a staff of more than 100 people located in offices in Grove City, PA, Edison, NJ, and Knoxville, TN, in addition to the Wyomissing corporate office. The professional staff includes registered mechanical, electrical, and structural engineers, many of whom hold licenses in multiple states. These professional engineers are supported by a highly qualified group of designers and drafters with significant experience in all aspects of project work from obtaining field data to use of a variety of the most up-to-date CAD systems.

RPA has completed, or has in progress, significant engineering assignments from several colleges and universities, internationally known pharmaceutical firms, and electric power generation facilities. Recent projects include: renovation of a science building for a major university, a new elementary school, liquid hazardous materials storage for an international pharmaceutical firm, and design of Bio Safety Level 2 and 3 laboratories for another pharmaceutical firm.
