Membership Eligibility

Membership in Riverfront FCU is open to everyone who lives, works, worships or is educated in Berks County. To join, call us at (610) 374-8351 or send us a completed membership application. Membership is easy. Simply complete a membership application and return it with your initial deposit of $5.00 and our one time membership fee of $3.00 to the credit union.

Our primary savings account requires a $50 minimum balance. This is what is considered your shares in the credit union. A member has one year from the date of opening the account to bring the balance up to $50. Members must have the required $50 in their primary savings account in order to access any other product or service.

Once you become a member of Riverfront Federal Credit Union, you become a member for life, even if you change jobs, relocate, or retire. Plus, after you become a member your family members (spouse, children, brothers or sisters, parents, grandparents, grandchildren and adoptive or "step" relations) are automatically eligible for membership.
